To God alone be the glory.
No matter how much we may strive to build something or prove ourselves, at the end of it all God is the one who is sovereign over all our plans and doings. Whatever we may expect of our own accomplishments, they mean nothing if His hand isn't in it.
Even if things don't work out the way we predict or hope for, though, God's always working with the long term in sight--the really long term. "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)
God sees the frustrations of the present, but He's also building something bigger; more beautiful and comprehensive than your own plans. The deal probably doesn't include prosperity, popularity, or the like in an earthly way, but we can rest assured that we are rich in Christ and much more than popular with Him: we are loved as children and heirs.
So at the end of it all, God gets the credit, as He both gives us our individual giftings and ultimately provides the fruit from them as well. He gets all the credit, and He deserves it.
